The Waste Land By T. S. Eliot

The Waste Land is a poem by T. S. Eliot, published in 1922. It is widely regarded as a foundational text of modernist poetry. The goal of this project was to create 5 posters, one for each section of the poem. The approach was to create each poster with its own individual voice, while still sustaining a similar graphic approach, corresponding to how the poem has multiple shifting speakers. The posters are intended to have an organic feel with both flat and 3D aspects mixed in to mirror the elements of disillusionment and despair described within the poem.

The 48 Laws of Power

The 48 Laws of Power is a non-fiction book by author Robert Greene. The goal of the project was to design a poster dedicated to each law, illustrating either an anecdote or theme within the chapter. The posters were meant to abstract the laws into more ambiguous illustrations, contrasting the highly researched and in-depth material contained within the book. Each poster has a different style and approach to mirror the unique feel of each individual law. The text used in each poster is quoted from the appropriate law.
